Bill: NLP - Early Elections proposed

Details

Submitted by[?]: Paleoconservative Party of Solentia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: January 4649

Description[?]:

The National Liberal Party proposes to halt all govt activity and call for a vote as soon as the bills being voted on pass. Please do not insert other bills. As soon as all bills pass,we will put up to vote this bill to decide who gets the 23 empty seats. Is only fair that all seats are occupied with someone representing the interests of the people. Cheers.

Sebastian Bronner,
Ex-president
Chairman of NLP

MessageWe should trigger this snap election as early as possible so it does not stifle the legislative agenda because the bills do not die they just go to debate stage and can be voted on again.

MessagePut to a vote. 23 empty seats is not acceptable with 500 total seats. Thats 5% of seats not assigned to any party.

MessageWhat power grab? We brought the early elections and you call us power grabbers? We just want all seats to be filled and all to be fair. Tho we waited a bit till the current bills pass, is only fair, they were our govt bills and they should be voted then the early elections to be triggered. We called for early elections first and you did not even bothered, but you still have guts to call us undemocratic. Such shame on SLP, no wonder why socialists are getting fewer votes by the day!

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
