| New Azure Four (NA4) is a proposed act of parliament that will liberalize the economy, only permitting interventionist nationalization measures in cases of severe market failure of a critical industry. Justification: A completely state-planned economy is inefficient and suppresses entrepreneurial innovations. We can protect the public good by nationalizing failing vital industries, but at the same time permitting for widespread market freedom. The transition to a free-market economy is absolutely paramount to our nation's long-term economic progress. |
