| Members of the Sejm, Let's put it clear: surrogacy is a humiliation for women. Not only because it causes women to be treated as an object of consumption but also because it is a market that mainly damages the lower classes, with few resources, who can find in surrogacy the only way out of their misery. Resorting to surrogacy when there are a large number of young children waiting for families who want to adopt them, just for the pure selfishness of wanting to have a child who has our own genes is something that we should banish from our mentality. With the approval of this law, surrogacy will be prohibited with the exception of close relatives (first and second degree of consanguinity to siblings).
