Message | Why should I pay for his transport? Many people have trouble paying for their own. People with cars are not rich; they might have just enough money. Especially with the current price of vehicle. |

Message | The Democratic Labour Party disagrees with this bill on several grounds. 1. Many low income citizens rely on public transport. They cannot afford cars, often, and if they can, the price of fuel, insurance and tax on vehicles is prohibitive. 2. Many older citizens rely on public transport. Many old age pensioners, primarily but not limited to older women and widows who do not or can not drive, rely on public transport. This bill will adversely affect these people, unfairly and unnecessarily increasing the amount they have pay and placing a greater burden on their often limited income. 3. Younger people, especially students, often rely on public transport. Students can not work and study in higher education. This means that they often can not afford cars. This will adversely affect students, possibly increasing student debt and causing a problem in society. 4. This may discourage many citizens from using public transport. Public transport reduces traffic congestion and pollution and is generally good for the nation. Therefore the Democratic Labour Party can not and will not support this bill, and may be introducing measures to the contrary. |

Message | Question: So what? You think I do not know that people rely on it? I am not ignorant. I am just saying that if they want something, they should pay for it. That is how the world work. Or are you a communist living with the dead Soviets? |

Message | So far, you, DLP, have been hugely biased against the rich and business. I would rather be on the fair side. |

Message | The Democratic Labour Party promotes equality. The Conservative Party, through various attempts to completely privatise the Jelbanian economy is clearly biased toward the rich, and big business. |

Message | No, actually it is unbiased. Fair. People PAY for what they get. |
Date | 20:03:04, April 05, 2006 CET | From | Free Conservative Party | To | Debating the Privatization II |
Message | DLP, what you are promoting is socialism. People who work more get less and people who work less get more. That is not fair. |

Random quote: "Soldiers are not the enemies of the movement. They're potential allies. They're more than that. Soldiers are the only people in America who are paying a stiff price for this war. Everybody else profits. Soldiers are the ones losing their lives, losing friends, having their lives disrupted. The real victims of American imperialism are its soldiers." - Fred Gardner |
