MessageThis must be withdrawn to allow all private cars. With a family of 6, a tiny fuel-friendly car does not cut the cheese. The shipping business needs bigger, more powerful trucks. If people do not like unfriendly cars, they will not be bought.

Furthermore, the DLP will not let go of the bus subsidization. Perhaps they cannot afford a "friendly" car, which tend to be more expensive than regular gas cars. This country is too tied up in regulations that it makes it very hard to live.

MessageThe DLP disagrees with this bill, the only result of it could be environmental harm.

MessageWe may agree, but reviewing the ERT we see no real reason to pull from it.

MessageThat may be, but one should not "throw the baby out with the bathwater" as it were. There's no guarantee this will ensure a freedom of cars in the near future, or that it details a ban on the idea as it currently exists.

MessageBut, without this, we ARE ensured a lack of freedom of cars.

MessageWe see no real threat for freedom of cars here. We cannot support this.

MessageIf I want a bigger, badder car, why can I not have it?

MessageYes, we did look at the treaty. The treaty says these two laws are allowed:

"Private cars are allowed, but people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives are provided for cars using environmentally friendly fuels."

"Only one car allowed per household, people are encouraged to travel collective and tax incentives on cars using environmentally friendly fuels."

People can still drive whatever they want, and if we so desire we can all compromise and choose the first one. If you want to drive a "bigger, badder car" then you can. You may not get tax breaks, but you will not have any real change in your lifestyle.

MessageTax breaks for a person to buy a certain product are just not fair to the people who do not want that product. I am not a big fan of tax incentives. True freedom exists in fairness. This treaty is not fair to the people.

MessageThis treaty is more than fair. It balances the right to choose along with environmental concerns. I'm sure the DLP would agree with us that those paying normal taxes are compensating for the pollution damages they are causing in using automobiles.

MessagePay US for the polution??? That is not fair.

ToDebating the Cars
MessageFair? We are having the people CAUSING the pollution pay for it. Would you rather the federal government collectively take it out of the taxpayer's pocket, which is the current system?

Is "fair" truly fair to the Conservative party, or is "fair" something they simply agree with?

MessageDoes the government clean up the polution? I do not think we do, so why should they pay us? If the people want friendly cars they can buy them.

MessageWe do, in fact. Many times it rests on the shoulders of local governments who may not be able to afford them. We have to pay to handle damages to water sources, deforestation, and urbanization.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
