Message | Mr Speaker, It is high time that we had a more consistent approach to civil liberties in Rutania. Liberty is hugely valued by this party but we recognise that the duty of the government to serve the public interest and maintain public safety means that in some cases it is necessary to restrict such liberties or, at least, to regulate them. Members of the House committed to a free, fair and safe Rutania must certainly vote for these measures. Signed, Lord Monroe Leader of the Dynamocratic Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, unfortunatly my party finds its self again at loggerheads with the Dynamorcratic Party, we cannot support articles 1 and 7, we fail to see how deneying children a loving family and not recognising a loving relationship wll benefit the nation in any way. Message | Mr Speaker, with regards to the sentiments expressed by the CSP in relation to Article 1 of this measure, we are in agreement that no child should be denied a 'loving family' but it is the view of my party that a child's security must always be the most important factor. For children to depend on one adult when already disadvantaged by their lack of a natural family, risks their happiness and safety by decreasing the security of their adopted household, whether it be financially or psychologically. With regards to article 7, recognising loving relationships is not the issue. Polygamy has a track record of systemising the mistreatment of women and children in the cultures it has been prevalent throughout history. It also exposes vulnerable members of such complex households to being overlooked and their vulnerability enhanced. For the sake of our women and children's safety, security, progress and happiness, it is incumbent on this House to accept the propositions in this bill. Signed, Lord Monroe Leader of the Dynamocratic Party |
