| PREAMBLE: Understanding that the topic of Abortion is incredibly delicate in Hutori, but not wanting to either infringe on a woman's right to choose, nor a living being's right to life, we the Liberal Party bring forward this Common Sense approach. 1.) Abortion Shall Be Considered a Completely Legal Elective Surgery for the first Twenty (20) weeks of a pregnancy. 1a.) As an Elective Surgery the Federal Government is not Privy to Cover the Cost, however Private Medical Insurance Companies and Provincials Government Health Plans May Cover the Cost should they choose. 1b.) In the case of Medical Emergency, Rape or Incest, the Federal Government will fully cover the cost of an Abortion. 2.) Abortions Held After Week Twenty-One (21) are to be considered Illegal. 2a.) Abortions After Twenty One Weeks, that endanger the mother's life are to be legal for the sake of the Mother, or should the pregnancy meet the criteria for Federal Funding under Article 1b. 3.) Provinicial Governments are Required to Ensure a minimum of service offered under their Bill are met within their Provinces 3a.) Provinces May Offer Further Services Beyond what's outlined in this Bill, but will be required to cover the costs under their own Provinicial Ministry of Health. |
