Article 1) 1.1 Schools are required to play the national anthem at the beginning of each day. 1.2 Students are not required to sing the anthem, or even stand for it, however it is expected that they are quiet and do not interrupt the anthem. There is no legal penalty for students who violate this legislation, however teachers and principals may decide to discipline the student through detention or suspension at their own discretion. |
