| To promote national development, it is necessary that The Republic of Tukarali promotes the clearance of forests in a responsible manner that recognizes the importance of stewardship, while balancing the needs of development to provide better for the Tukarese people. ADDITIONAL ARTICLES. 1. New Forestry Agency: Agência Nacional Florestal (National Forestry Agency) Creation of a National Forestry Agency under the Ministry of the Interior’s supervisory capacity. The Agency shall be responsible for promoting private forest clearance, contracting out official clearance projects, managing replantation (if that ever becomes government policy,) and performing survey work to minimize ecological damage such as erosion from forestry. Sale of lumber from clearance of forests. 2. Comissão de Mordomia (Commission on Stewardship.) A commission to regulate and advise the National Forestry Agency. Their advisory role is to be taken seriously. They shall play a respected role in advising on ethics and stewardship. To reflect the Hosian and Apostolic nature of Tukarali, and to ensure the laws of Ariel are obeyed, this commission shall include theological, scientific, and ethics experts. There shall be three theological experts, appointed by the Tukarali Conference of Apostolic Bishops, 2 scientific experts, and 2 ethical experts. One scientist will be appointed by the Head of State and confirmed by the National Assembly, another will be selected and appointed by the National Assembly. The same goes for the ethicists. |
