MessageMdm, Speaker

In light of the Opposition motion to change the number of seats to avoid the possibility of hung Parliaments in future, we move forward this Constitutional Amendment, as suggested by the Prime Minister to reduce the total number of seats in Parliament by 5, which in turn will remove one seat each from the Provinces.

Hon. Justin Kelly
Chief Government Whip
MP for Sutton Centre (L-RO)
