MessageDear Minister Henderson,

I am writing as part of an official protest by the Gaduridos National Party against the public expenditure outlined in the 'Green Gaduridos Project', a wholly self-serving and political move by the ruling party to devastate communities and push a radical agenda on the nation. We hear consistently from supporters across the country that there are fears for jobs in traditional sectors such as coal mining, oil drilling, and the energy industry built around this. Why would the Government put good jobs at risk?

Given Gaduridos' economic power, we see this as a vanity project that would damage the nation's economy through extreme public expenditure, funds that could be used to pay for our military, our public services, and for tax cuts for the people of Gaduridos. We implore you Sir, please reconsider this proposal, and for once, your Government should put the people, and not itself, first.

Yours Faithfully,

Winston Cheung, Science Spokesman, Gaduridos National Party

MessageThe government is not interested in fixing our broken economy. The government is interested in increasing public spending, increasing the size of our national debt and increasing the scope of the state. Nobody should be surprised at this latest colossal and catastrophic waste of money that the government is proposing.

MessageThis will create more jobs than oil drilling, coal mining and any unrenewable energy source ever could. It is not “radical” or a “political move” to try to protect the environment. It is a political move to supply oil companies with oil in exchange for their donations.Activists across the nation say that this will replace jobs in the energy industry with clean, renewable ones.

Of course the opposition would be against this. They are only accountable to their donors, many of which are from the oil companies. There isn’t a national debt, we have a surplus of over 500 billion GAD, the opposition spin on this was purely conjecture.

MessageOur party is accountable to voters, not to donors. Only registered party members are permitted to donate funds to our party and information about our funding is available as a matter of record on our website and in our biannual reports since the party's foundation. Nobody should doubt our parties commitment to financial transparency.

The same cannot be said for the government's approach to the national finances. Rather than fixing our economy, they want to bankrupt the country and fuel these obscene vanity projects with taxpayer's money. Gaduri voters should say firmly and proudly that they don't want to fund this nonsense.
