Bill: Economic reform act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Militant Alliance of the Left
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2211
Description[?]:
Not that I expect this to go down too well with the laissez-faire politics of most Rutanian parties, but I have proposed a few economic reforms. 1) Advertising must have "quality control", such as on false advertising, or just an outright ban on the sort of unfunny adverts you get in commercial breaks. 2) We will never get nationalised energy provisions, so I have decided to leave it to local governments. 3) Won't be popular, but I believe the workers need more protection. 4) Remember, this is only on VITAL industries, I'm not endorsing bailing out companies that are failing for a reason. 5) National minimum wage is also to protect the workers, basically to stop the "slavery" that some employers can get away with. |
