| I'm trying to introduce a new Westminister style of parliament and I'm starting with the speaker. here is the basic stuff and I would like to negotiate with all parties so this can get passed. 1. There shall be a speaker of the parliament. 2. The speaker will be appointed with a simple majority vote at the start of each term. 3. The speaker shall be in charge of parliament. 4. While debating in parliament members must speak to the speaker and refer to other members in third person. (eg. Mr/Madame speaker, the honourable prime minister is ruining this nation.) |
