Bill: OOC: RP on the Solentians flying in Istalia
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
|OOC: Recently, in Solentia a Majatran political force rose to power and turned Solentian in the Majatran Republic of al-Sahil. The Solentian RP shows increasing ethnic tensions and clashes, non-majatran solentians' uprising, also among the armed forces.|
There was also a terrorist attack on the border between Solentia and Istalia and I said to the Solentian player that could be realistic something like an almost mass exodus of non-majatran solentians flying in Istalia (actually the most developed country of the area and also the one with which solentians can benefit of a free movement and no-visa policy.
This could be an interesting RP to develop.
Actually, as you know, or you should know, Istalia has a large majatran community, almost 15% of population.
But it is also true that such flooding of Solentia could ignite very nationalist feelings, due to the fact that in the Istalian culture is well radicated the memory of the three solentian-lead monarchical regime established in Istalia, renamed Quanzar by the solentian Quanzari restaurationist: http://classic.particracy.net/viewparty.php?partyid=10369).
Too many Solentians, supported by foreign powers, especially Artanian ones (at the time actually hegemoning the world according to the RP), could be the reason of the solentian-quanzar restaurations, a fear which sometime re-emerged: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4118&p=142130&hilit=solentians#p142130).
I think there are many opportunity to develop interesting domestic and international RP.

|Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America).|
