Description[?]:
Members of the Assembly, The main function of educational institutions is to provide students, future generations of our country, with the necessary knowledge to understand how everything around them works. But in addition to that, education must also serve to offer our citizens a critical view of society, so that they are provided with the necessary tools to establish themselves as independent beings who may have knowledge beyond that ideology or thought that they can have the parents. We must remember that children do not belong to parents, but they have their right to know things beyond what they can learn in their own home. Stefania Lia Minister of Education and Culture |

Message | Mr Speaker, the Left Bloc is really too easily ignoring so much situation which could oblige and make preferable for a child and the family to opt for home schooling. Actually, it is clear that parents shall have the adeguate skills or to provide a prepared private teacher and I'm sure our Ministry of Education is fully capable to continue to vigilate so that children opting for homeschooling are learning adeguately. I don't think the colleagues of Left Bloc could think that in Istalia there is the right for everyone to educate a child. Parents or not, they shall have adeguate skills or provide a prepared private teacher. We are Istalia, not Talmoria or Kalkalistan. About the second article... well... what say? Another attempt of the left to decrease the freedom of choice of our citizens. Thank you - Francesca Farrago |

Message | Fajez Al-Sajez, PRI’s MP for Silicia: Mr.Speaker, We can’t agree with this Ddl. The actual policies gave citizens more freedom than the proposed ones. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
