Bill: Workers Involvement Act (2211)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2212
Description[?]:
The workforce of Hobrazia should take an active intrest in their job and not rely solely on the government protecting their intrests. This bill will mean that union membership is compulsory so all workers will recieve updates from their particular union. The change in the union voting system will also reward those who do participate in union matters as now it will only take into account yes and no votes and not the number of members who vote yes compared to those who vote no or don't vote. Article III did not feature in the original 2169 form of this bill or in 2190 but is a new addition: Workers should be encouraged to take control of business. The government should help as many people as possible gain a better income and quality of life. If all business was run by the workers then there would no longer be huge differences in citizens incomes. |
