With respect to our current laws listed below and there alternatives , We believe this bill restricts the right to a National guard interveneing at Local governments request in the event of mass riots or other large events that would become out of the local law enforcement agencies capabilities of handing. That being said we propose A civilian police force is in place and the military may be called in to help in serious emergencies. They would only be allowed to intervene when requested and in extremley serious circumstances. The nation's policy on the separation of the police and the military. A civilian police force is in place and the military is not allowed to play any part in it. Alternatives: The military acts as a de-facto police force, with powers of arrest. A civilian police force is in place, backed up by the military. A civilian police force is in place and the military may be called in to help in serious emergencies. |
