MessageMr. Speaker,

This treaty offers nothing beneficial to Lodamun as our rights to transit these waters is already protected by the law of the sea. The Princely Republic should withdraw from it at once and prepare plans should Gaduridos escalate.

MessageIf you withdraw from this treaty, Lodamese are no longer allowed to transit Gaduri waters.Gaduridos has no obligation to allow Lodamese ships to travel throughout it’s borders. It is saying a lot when Gaduridos, a one party state despite each Gaduri citizen having the right to form a party, is more free than a multi-party democracy.Slavery is an inhumane practice that should be abolished in every nation that exists.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Lodamun retains its right to travel through international waters, including the Gaduri EEZ, as stipulated by the Law of the Sea. That treaty is ancient and well established. Its ratification by this nation was 1600 years ago and the savage land of Gaduridos also ratified it. Any attempt by this rogue state to interfere with our people in direct contravention of established international law should be met with devastating force.

Our Princely Republic does not allow foreign imports and our merchant presence on the high seas is limited, yet it must be defended as a matter of honor. We are blessed with a bountiful land with enough to provide for all. Gaduridos is a land divided by the seas. Let that be a reminder.

MessageMr. Speaker,

this treaty was in fact meant to protect foreign vessels bound for Lodamese harbours, in order to secure our international economic position. If Gaduridos wishes to resign from this treaty, such protection would be lost. Indeed, it doesn't necessarily mean that ships bound for Lodamun are no longer allowed to use that strait.
We will support this proposal, for the sole reason that we no longer wish to participate when one of the protagonists has chosen no longer to respect ancient deals.
