Message | We challenge all parties. Tukarali has become a middle of the road country. The government is weak, while the opposition is not able to gain momentum. Time to shake up the status quo ! |

Message | The support for the actual pension system is weak, according to a recent poll only 23% support the actual system. Our proposal is backed by almost 27%. |

Message | We concur with the Patriot Party. We do not support Article 1 on the grounds that it helps those less fortunate to actually have a living. Yes it only supports one person but if they are living by themselves, that is all that is required. |

Message | We oppose all Article 1: There's also "supply and demand" on the labour market, but because of social AND economical reasons the GLDS underscribe the use of minimum wages. Article 2: The GLDS are greenish, but also realistic.. Traditional energy sources (oil, gas, wood,..) are all carbon based, and release gases which are bad for the atmosphere. At the moment alternate energy sources (solar, wind, water) are either still in their baby shoes, not yet very efficient, or have low economical use.. The only remaining option is nuclear power. Energy for the people! Article 3: We at the GLDS do not believe in some kind of social darwinism, some kind of struggle of the fittest where the ones who happen to be poor just have tough luck. What kind of a society would we be if their would be no solidarity at all. Article 4: We do want everyone to be able to have a car; but at the same time we want to stimulate some points the GLDS thinks are important: ecological, but also social and economical reasons. Mass transit is a way to organise and structure the floods of students and masses workpeople who take the train/bus to the city/school/factory, in stead of congesting our roads and ruining our environment. |

Message | Article 1 : minimum wages will lead to a grey economy, where wages are too high, 'demand' will still find a way, some of our economy will get into a grey zone Article 2 : it would be wiser to subsidize solar energy or wind energy, once these technologies can be mass produced they will be very competitive; note that we are not aganinst the nuclear, we only demand to let the free market work Article 3 : we are definitely not social darwinists, we believe individuals should be free to choose how they save up for retirement; the state has no monopoly on solidarity, private charity organizations and foundations can help the poor in more direct and creative ways than the State Article 4 : we are not opposed against efficient mass transport, we are opposed against the disturbance of the market by subsidizing the use of these means; if we subsidize ecological fuels, companies will feel no need to invest in R&D to produce more efficient Our rationale is that people should have all options; we should treat them as intelligent adults able to take responsible decisions. Actually some parties in Tukarali treat our citizens as babies to be pampered or rebels to be investigated. Anyhow, we seem to have a majority for a laissez faire in energy and private transport. So most probably we will ask to vote on these 2 articles soon. |
