Bill: Internal Affairs minister Graham Philips speech
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4717
Description[?]:
Unfortunately, the communist movement hasn't received a majority of votes and seats. We nonetheless have 40 % of the seats and votes . We'll stay in office until a new government can be formed. We'll act as a caretaker cabinet. We are also surprised that our colleagues of the Anarchist Action did not present a candidate for the presidency as agreed. We said they had to present a candidate which would receive our support. Anyway, concerning the formation of a cabinet, our position is that the anti-democratic and far-right parties have won. Therefore, we can't form a cabinet with them. The Hosian Monarchist, White Rose and the LDP are against adultery, pornography, prostitution, anti-migrants and also anti-workers. This is really too extreme for us and we'll lead a strong opposition if none of those parties are banned. Concerning the SDP, they once supported the far-right and now they don't. We're skeptical about this party but we don't have the seats to form a cabinet with them anyway. We will wait a few months to see if the negotiations lead to a new cabinet. If they don't, we'll call for an early election. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
