Bill: Parliamentary Reform - Seats Act II.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Common Wealth Party - CWP

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4740

Description[?]:

The current number of seats in parliament and thus also of the number of constituencies is not up to date to the current situation and needs to be renewed. The country is very big and many regions think differently and so the number of constituencies should increase to create better local representation in parliament. The increase of seats to 250 is not big nor significant but it is still important for our political system.
