Bill: Economic Liberation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2214

Description[?]:

Vigdis Hocken has re-examined the party platform extensively. We are of the opinion there is much unwarrented intrusion into the working of the Likatonian economy and we therefore propose the following:

1. Abolish the energy subsidy, along with associated admin costs.
2. Companies should fall into line and be happy to disclose the contents of all foods if the public are demanding it. Why should we waste precious resources policing this?
3. Trees. I nearly ran into one driving to the convocation. It was lucky my empty scotch bottle fell off the dash and woke me just before I ran into it. These huge wooden things are dangerous. We are considering making it compulsory for people to drive with bottles of alcohol in their cars as a safety measure.
4. Remove regulations off the phone service. See point one.
5. Again, market forces should be allowed to determine who the best candidate for any job is.
6. Let us allow those who would make and develop the resource of space to do so without hinderence.
