MessageThat is why we have given religious freedom in previous bills, however, this opens up the door to female circumcision, which could lead to wide-spread cases of female genital mutilation.

MessageWell, unlike male circumcision, for girls, it is done with malicious intent and often doesn't warrant improved hygiene and will have medical repercussions, unless done medically, but even then, it doesn't serve much purpose, where as male circumcision has both religious and hygenic purposes.
