Message | My Fellow Peers, Why does this government wish to destroy our economic progress and hurt the middle class, lower class and small businesses? By passage of this bill no improvement will be made on those lives only additional hardship. Small businesses will either layoff a worker or not hire more, inflation will likely resume and lower income families will have less job security and opportunity. This will also halt upward mobility as there will be less available capital by business both big and small. Mark my words if this continues we will be back to the same conditions as before the SCP took power! Landon Granderson Leader of the Opposition |

Message | Hurt the lower class? The wage cuts you did hurt the lower class.Of course, the SCP cares more about a natural process which wasn’t out of control before they reduced it than the wages of the workers.Inflation will rise, but only slightly and the wage increase offsets the slight inflation increase as more people would be able to afford it.Small businesses were able to pay it before your party cut the wages, they will be able pay it now, and if your workers can’t afford to even eat or not be homeless, then you shouldn’t have a business. Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
