MessageUnethicality is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I think maybe instead of killing them, we should put them to hard labor for the rest of their lives. That kind of punishment would scare the heck out of anyone.

Death for death is not unethical, nor is it revenge. Revenge would be more "you killed my brother; DIE." This is simply punishment for crime. It could also work as deterance, like the atomic bomb.
