MessageWe belive that by allowing the State to fund some sports clubs, alongside privately owned ones, will allow citizens to make a choice between a club run for profit and a stae-funded club that is run for the benefit of the people.

MessagePrivate sports clubs aren't necessarily all for-profit.
OOC: In my community, for example, there are clubs run by charity for the benefit of the people.

It would also be chaotic for the federal government to get involved in sports clubs - huge waste of time and resources, and likely inefficient. Perhaps a more suitable proposal would be to allow the local governments to decide funding. The PC Party would definitely be able to support that compromise.
