On November 17th 4761 the leader of the SLP Michael Morgan was shot at three times. Currently Mr Morgan is in hospital being treated for his injuries. The doctors say he will likely make a full recovery and taking his place as leader of the SLP will be Claire Rose just until he comes back. The Person who shot at Mr Morgan is currently in captivity and the head of police say he is a far right extremists and has been plotting to kill Mr Morgan and a few unnamed members of the SLP and RNC parties for a little while. The suspects been identified as Paul Greenwood. I hope all political parties will prey for Mr Morgan as he makes his recovery at St Romeo’s Hospital. |

Message | Colleagues. As a victim of an assassination attempt I understand the pain and terror this spreads. I can assure members of the house that as Chief Commisioner of the Rutanian police I am personally overseeing the investigation into how this was allowed to happen, in addition to the suspect we have in custody, 2 members of the security detail have been brought in for questioning and we are looking into all other avenues However in this uncertain time we are increasing protection for all members and additional secret service staff will be posted to high level members. I can inform the house that as a reaction to this attack both the Lord High Steward & the Lord High Chancellor have both been moved to secure locations to ensure their security. Kind regards The Right Honourable Sir George McCormack MF PC KGRC LL.M BLe. The Lord High Commissioner Secretary of State for the Home Department Chief Commissioner of the Rutanian Emergency Services Deputy Leader of the Constitutional Solidarity Party Councillor to the Privy Council Knight Guardian of the Rutania Cross Baronet of Dartworth |
