| Pre-Game History Kafuristan was prehistorical occupied by several tribes that competed and fought for each other. The prophet Ahmad was born in Kafuristan began to adminster his messages in the area around 1186. It quickly spread around the tribes and in 1234, the Ahmadi Caliphate conquered much of the Majatran Peninsula and united all the tribes under Ahmadism. It currently remains the most prominent religion in the country today. Around 1500, Artanian explorers began to venture into the area. Although the Majatrans originally welcome them, the difference in cultures soon caused tensions between the two continents. Although an autonomous state, Kafuristan was virtually colonized by the Artanians were put under protectorates of several different Artanian countries. About 200 years later, the Majatrans rebelled against the Artanian oppression and established their own Republic. For the next thousand years, Hosian (Christian) orders, Caliphates, and other republics eventually rose and declined in control over this important peninsula. In-Game Synopsis Kafuristan today has ranged from a radical, Ahmadist Caliphate, absolutist Kingdom, Communist republic to a liberal democracy. Kafuristan is widely considered to be the world’s leading producer of oil and petroleum products in the world, competing with other Majatran states, Dovani and the near arctic world up north. Kafuristan is loosely based on Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and has attained similar status to Saudi Arabia/Egypt in terms of political, economic and military power. However as of this Cultural Protocol update, Kafuristan ranks as a small power and weak economic power. E T H N I C I T Y Majatrans – 85% - Majatrans (based on a generic Arab culture) – 80% - Majatran Asli (based on Arab North Africans) – 10% - Kafuri Bedwi (based on the Berber people) – 10% Siphinians – 7.5% - Kafuri Irqebal (arab-influenced, tribalised Albanian culture) – 90% - Kalopian Siphinian (based on general Albanian culture) – 10% Other Majatrans – 5% (Augustans, Kalopians, Solentians, Istalians, Deltarians) Other – 2.5% (variety of other ethnicities) R E L I G I O N Kafuristan is the spiritual home to Abadi Ahmadism. During periods of time there were political period where incentive was given to incentivize Isrist Ahmadism, however Abadism is firmly entrenched in Kafuri culture. Helem, the holy city of Ahmadism is routinely visited each year by millions of Ahmadis from across the world. Despite the dominance of Ahmadism, religious tolerance in Kafuristan has generally been high. Ahmadi (based on Islam) – 70% - Abadism – 75% (based on Shi’a Islam) - Israism – 10% (based on Sunni Islam) - Sahabism – 5% (based on Sufism) - Alawaism – 5% (based on Halawism) - Zahirism – 5% (based on Madhism) Irreligious – 12,5% Hosianism – 7.5% (based on Christianity) Animism/Paganism - 5% Yeudism – 2.5% (based on Judaism) Other – 2.5% L A N G U A G E Standard Majatran is the most common language spoke and the de facto official language of Kafuristan.
