Message | Hey, less beaurocracy for us. With this, we will not worry about that half of people that will always hate us! With the private schools, the people will decide what happens in the schools; if they do not like it, they switch. One school acts one way, the other acts differently. We will not have to deal with that half! They will go to their own schools. |

Message | BBP, did you read the proposal????????????????????????? "Proposed: Education is private, but the government subsidises the cost of it for everyone" The GOVERNMENT PAYS for everyone to go to school!!!!! This is the same as the current system, just that people get the right to CHOSE. This will not "dumb up" anybody. In fact it will probably be better; schools will actually have competition to force UPWARD standards! Contrary to what many grade schools teach, competition is very important. |

Message | ok i apologize for the misreading. but still, why do we pay for it when it was free???? and if parents want to pay for what they beileve to be a better education(private schools) then they can with their own money. everyone of those parents may not want a private school. Let free education exist. |

Message | This does let free education exist. It simply makes it private, creating competition. The parents can chose a school that teaches children what they want. The school will decide how to handle things like sex ed, religion, the national anthem, grading standards, etc. This way, the parents will get what they want. |

Message | NOW the truth comes out. you want competition? right. making all the schools private (and the government pay for em) is nonsense, we are wasting money on something that we HAD free. this is not a very convincing argument. For now we remain Unsupportive. Let Free education exist. |

Message | "making all the schools private (and the government pay for em) is nonsense, we are wasting money on something that we HAD free." It still is free, do you not understand that??? |

Message | Absolute idiocy. Why is it necessary? IF IT IS STILL FREE, WHY CHANGE THE CURRENT POLICY? |

Message | Providing excellent schools should be the pride of the Jelbanian government, not cast aside as "bureaucracy." This measure is an affront to the Jelbanian motto of Liberty, Equality, and Opportunity. |
