Message | Of course, it's totally unproven that pollution standards stop the enhancement of industrial tools and we, at the SDU, see absolutely no link between these two issue. Furthermore, it's false to say tht market forces serve as the best regulations against low environmentak standards because industries that do not have such principles often produce cheapest products, which are obviously more prone to be buy by consumers. And that even if these products are not environmentaly-friendly, or even the safest for the health (another issue here, actually). |

Message | "My honorable friend from the SDU correctly points out," replied Senator Taddeo Pesce, "that the supposition that pollution standards enhance industrial tooling is nothing but unproven speculation. We can only conclude that the Senator wishes to deny Dolgarians access to better Dolgarian goods at better Dolgarian prices. Instead, the SDU would have you buy cheap foreign products at prices set buy foreign industry, while our industries wither under highly restrictive environmental policies. Policies, Senator Pesce reminded the Senate, for which the national government has demonstrated it lacks the resolve to fairly enforce." |
