Voting deadline: September 4769

Description[?]:

In accordance with the referendum held yesterday, and the results yielding 57.3% of Telamoners wishing for the SGS to become the sole legal party in the nation, this law hereby:

- Establishes the Republic of Telamon to be one with a sole legal party; this means all others are illegal and barred from running for offices.

- Permits the people of Telamon to run as non-members of the SGS for Althing and provincial councils; albeit they must be approved for the position by the Deliberative Assembly after election- if they are not approved, the runner up shall take the seat, and they must be approved, and so on.

- Permits the people of Telamon to create electoral lists, of similar-minded politicians running independently for offices. These electoral lists must be approved by the Althing upon creation, and may be ordered to dissolve should the Althing choose so for the nation's security and interests.

- Permits the people of Telamon to create political organizations and interest groups; although they may not endorse, fund, or run candidates for offices. These organizations may lobby the Althing via means such as, but not limited to: conferences with MPs, protests, letters and other forms of communications, and direct questions to MPs and members of government. Other methods utilized may be approved or restricted by the Althing as their use arises.

- This law may be repealed by a simple majority vote. Approval by the Deliberative Assembly is not necessary but requested.
