MessageMr. Speaker,

This bill is a disgrace in any way imaginable. How could the conservative claim they respect sactity of life while the propose to strip women from a large portion of the right to controll their own life? Isn't the life of pregnent women worth respecting? How on earth is it moral in anyway to use the state to force upon a women one of the most severe burden, the one of being a mother, simply because we have more consideration on a embryo than herself?

As a former nurse myself, I find it repugnant the idea that I could have gone to prison for up to 15 years simply because I help a women have controll over her own body. Doctors and nurses are already held accountable for their actions. If a medical expert perform a abortion that is consider dangerous ou simply too late, that expert can already loose his licence. Which mean that that this bill is mostly useless in any other matter than reducing women's right to chose.

I know that the Consrvatives might brought the argument that this bill only ban abortion perform after 3 months and still allow most abortion. To that I would retort that no amount of reduction of women's right is acceptable. It is not up to the governement to decide when and how a women should have an abortion; this matter should be left in the hand of the women herself and her doctor.

MessageMr Speaker,

Simple yes or no question to the Right Honourable Prime Minister, does she believe an infant born prematurely is not a human being?

MessageMr. Speaker,

I do think a infant born prematurely is a human being. I am quite eager to hear where the leader fo the Conservative party is going with this.

MessageMr Speaker,

I thank the Prime Minister for that answer. I'll ask a follow up. Does the Prime Minister agree that since a premature infant of say, 4 weeks early, a fetus at the same point in pregnancy is also a human being?
