Mr Speaker, I am here today, not as a member of this government but as a Commanding officer of our Nations Armed Forces, for too long our government has crippled out military. it's okay for us here in our ivory towers but, for me and my men when we have to engage in combat red tape makes our lives 3 times harder. We implore this house to put power back into our militaries hands, for those of you that vote this bill down. When our next conflict comes and believe me it will. When those bodies start to be shipped home remember where you stood this day when you look into the eyes of the widows and orphans that your opposition to this bill created.
