Bill: A step towards a kingdom

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4791

Description[?]:

Lodamun has witnessed many forms of the executive. We have been a republic for decades, but we also had the royal Prince ruling over our nation. We believe that Lodamun has to unify. The only way that would be possible would be by installing a Kingdom.
We are still looking for the perfect candidate, but at the time we ask the Presidium to vote on this proposal.

MessageMr Speaker,

This is disgusting, we will not accept this even dead. We are the backwater and laughing stock of this world, we are better off not reforming.

MessageMr. Speaker,

please note that the communes have received some sort of independence thanks to our wellwillingness. I hardly understand them to bother. They are independent, so why do we need their approval?

MessageMr Speaker,

Your totally confusing us and is weird. We are the Libertarian Communist Party, a Lodamese party, so it is in our interests to defend Lodamese interests. We are not the communes, although we re friends with them. These threats made lately are not from the Communes, who are living own lives, but from the Lodamese left and minorities angered by your agenda. So please note well down, this is not the Communes, we are the LCP and we do not like to be called otherwise comrade.

Signed David Lindauer,
Chairman of the LCP

MessageMr Speaker,

We applaud PNG first step in realizing that LCP is it's own thing. Now onto the bill. We will continue our militant nature on stopping the reforms. Many people in Lodamun would agree with me as well right now, from Hosians to republicans, to fellow leftists.

Chairman of LCP

MessageMr. Speaker,

we are willing to make a statement here.
The future King of Lodamun will accept and protect the communes. The King will actively defend the communes and will hear them.
PNG proposes to give the King a representative function with limited political rights. The leader of the Lodamese political scene would be the Prime Minister, elected by Presidium and therefore by the people.
If we receive LCP support on the formation of the Lodamese Kingdom, we will support the communes and give them freedom and rights the abide.

Lara Kronstedt
Prime Minister of Lodamun

MessageMr Speaker,

We will give you nothing. The King shall have no place in our politics, no matter how limited their power is. The Communes do not need your approval for own existence, they won it through blood and iron, through bravery and unity, through the people's spirit and discontent. They own their victory, they shall maintain themselves independent. We speak in their name since their delegation sent us communicates. The LCP wont stomp on their socialist principles and values for a pity deal with the Nationalists, we are not here to sell the nation to a monarch. The better option would be to just abolish the role of President, if you really want.

Signed,
LCP and Communal Delegations to the Presidium
