OOC: Good Evening All, Jack here, as the 2nd oldest party here, and the most active RP party here I felt it necessary to bring this bill to the forefront for new players to understand. Article 1: NEW PLAYERS 1.1 FIRST PROCESS: The first thing you should all do is familiarise yourself with the rules of Particracy, there are strict arrangements for all parties to follows. a tutorial for how to start can be found here http://classic.particracy.net/faq.php 1.2 THE FORUM: The Forum is separate from the main game but is used to enhance Roleplay and interaction with players. please familiarise yourself with it and use the rutania page for additional Roleplay. Article 2: Bills 2.1 PRESENTATION. All bills should be proposed in a setup that you would expect to hear in the House of Commons in the United Kingdom. Starting by addressing the Speaker of the House (Mr Speaker) and ending with a formal good bye (Kind Regards) and then signing off the Bill with the name of the Individual for which the bill has been proposed by followed by any of their titles as below: Duke Jack Simms MP PC LL.D DPm The Lord High Chancellor Secretary of State for the Constitution Viceroy of the Most Noble Order of Stag Deputy Chairman to the Privy Council Duke of Merton 2.2 BILL COURTESY: in the house, we have to treat each other with respect and decorum, you should refer to members of parties in opposition as the Honourable Gentleman or Lady and those in your party or Coalition as My Honourable Friend. debates should always be observed except in the case of Early Elections to fill seats that have been vacated or in the case of Urgent Bills for emergencies (these should be listed with URGENT in the title) 2.3 DEBATE: all debate should be kept friendly however all general statements should be made to the Speaker (Mr Speaker) or to the Specific minister/official or the member of the house. the debate has to be more than just the word Agree. you need to commend the member on the bill or recommend some changes or if you oppose the bill make your displeasure known, debate the issue and try to change policy. |
