| Message | KEEPING DRANLAND SAFE. INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE. Finance Minister Zhang Mei Xue unveiled this term's national budget. The centrepiece of the new budget was the increased spending in National Defence and Education. The 5 billion DRA increase in Defence were to compensate for the creation of several new military units in the preceding months. The additional 3 billion DRA in Education is largely due to the Xinquotang's commitment to providing quality accessible education to the citizens of Dranland. This is the Xinquotang's third budget since the Finance Minister was sworn in. OOC: Other ministries received a slight increase to balance out numbers since it's a lot easier to work with only billions. |

| Message | Although the PGC opposed the creation of so many new military units now that they are here we agree that they must not be underfunded as that can only lead to accidents and deaths. We therefore agree with this budget. The PGC also wishes to declare that Finance Minister Zhang Mei Xue has their full support to rmain at his post in any new cabinet formed as a result of the new election. |
