| Message | The Progressive Party plans to advance legislation that would incentivize the future construction of future nuclear power plants. The Government believes that nuclear power plants, although able to provide copious amounts of energy, is far too great of a security risk if nuclear-related disaster were to occur. The Government will also begin the process of decommissioning active reactors and transition to alternate forms of energy that are better for the environment in the long-term. | Message | Addressed to: The Imperial Senate of the Augustan Empire --- Dear Senators of Augustan Empire, I pray that this open letter shall be regarded in its fraternal intention. I am writing to express to this hallowed chamber my most sincere commendation of this legislation advanced by the governing party. Indeed, as the wise Granda Logthete and Imperial Prefect argue, the use of nuclear technology has risks which far exceed its benefits. The elimination of civilian nuclear technology is a crucial constituent element of the Framework and Agreement for a Nuclear-Free Future (FANFF) (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4676). While we shall forever respect the sovereignty of the Augustan Empire in charting its own domestic and foreign policy, it is my heartfelt dream that the Augustan Empire will join hands with Seko and Rildanor in demonstrating our collective commitment to rid the planet of this dangerous technology.
