This bill will ban the use of torture on 'suspects'. These suspects are merely that, they are suspects, they have not been convicted and the authorities may have the wrong person and torture innocent people. Torture cannot be allowed to take place in our fair nation. |

Message | I'm in favour of this. If we allow the police to torture suspects, it's likely they are torturing innocent people. And can you really trust information obtained by using torture? Remember, in medieval times women accused of being witches often confessed their crimes and described satanic rituals because they were tortured and wanted it to stop. The "vital information" obtained from torturing would be most likely false. |
