| Message | I must emphasise that this bill is essential if we are to call ourselves a free country, and further that, to allay the worries of the other parties, this act does nothing to change our current nationality or immigration law: it simply extends citizenship to all nationals. Foreign residents who wish to be naturalised must still go through the regular process. |
