| This act seeks to empower the Foreign Ministry to decide if individuals seeking to enter the nation for the purpose of evangelism should be permitted to do so. This would replace the current policy of a universal ban towards foreign missionaries. |

| Message | The NUP welcomes the recent changes removing the punishment for blasphemy. However, it still seems strange that while individuals already within our borders may undertake evangelism freely - foreigners attempting to enter the nation for that same purpose are forbidden, without room for individual assessment. We instead propose that the Foreign Ministry may choose on an individual basis, if the person attempting entry is worthy of being welcomed into our borders. |
