Bill: NPR & SEP Workable Cabinet Proposal of February 4845

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Conservative Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4845

Description[?]:

The NPR provides the below proposal, with an outstretched hand of friendship, to the SEP.

We believe that this cabinet is workable and will correct the problems the SEP sets out, avoiding the need for yet another election.

This agreement favours the SEP, giving their party 7 of the 13 sets in the cabinet, a clear majority.

It will enable a well functioning government until the next elections, and a governing coalition that holds the DFP to account.

MessageWe call on the SEP to support this cabinet proposal. With their support, a majority of those in the Assembly will have confidence in the governing arrangements and we will be able to have stable governance once more.
