Details

Submitted by[?]: Lodamun Centre-Left Coalition

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2067

Description[?]:

This is the revised Cabinet proposal, with regards to the Consensus Act. Per the Consensus Act, which has not passed, the Cabinet positions are to be distributed proportionately. MessageWe'd also like to point out to the Adam Smith Party that, in line with the spirit of the Consensus Act, of 450 total seats in parliament and 10 seats in cabinet, they are presumably not included in this proposal because their representation is currently too small.

When any party achieves close to 45 seats, we would expect them to be included, as long as they fulfill the other requirements.

MessageAs this proposal fits the proportional requirements and we have no objections to the allocations we will support this proposal

For information only we have calculated the proportional representation to imply the following distribution of seats in the cabinet
MLP - 3
AC - 2
CNT - 1
SAP - 1
CFC - 1
MLT -1
2nd -1
Cryhavoc and Adam Smith (ourselves) - 0

MessageWe do not suffer from that imagined ailment that the left call alienation.

We are mature enough to accept the decisions of our people.
