Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

| Unfortunately, after months of treatments and therapy, ranging from latest scientific medicine to holy anointments by priests. Emperor Ferdinand Ier fell into the claws of Death. HIs caretakers said his last words were "Please fulfill the dream I could not make true myself !". His funeral took place in the Great Place of Ferdinandia, and was attended by hundreds of thousands of Aldurians, all devastated by the event. His five closest friends : Maximilien de Saint-Pierre, Gabriel d'Aquile, Eisen von Silberkrone, Leopold Griffenberg and Apollon Artaud, were all part of the ceremony. The people of Alduria was unanimous, Ferdinand was a great ruler, that managed to unify the country and make it greater. He started with nothing, he was clever and eloquent, but he was by no means a noble or the descendant of a great man, and still was able to be the greatest man Alduria never knew ! But life is life, our Great Emperor, no, our God Ferdinand Ier could not be eternal. However, another problem rises... Who will be his successor ? He passed away bwithout an heir, leaving an unsolved problem on the hands of the country. To this day, there are five candidates : -Gabriel d'Aquile, the closest to the Emperor, he wants to honour the existence of Ferdinand by pursuing what he started, he wants to respect as much as possible Ferdinand's opinion. -Maximilien de Saint-Pierre, the actual First Consul, he wants to keep with Ferdinand's ideas, however, he is way more liberal and promotes state capitalism. -Eisen von Silberkrone, the actual Minister of defence, he is very militaristic and imperialistic, he promotes the start of a crusade against all of Alduria's ennemies. He still wants to keep Ferdinand's ideas in mind. -Apollon Artaud, the actual Minister of culture, he is... quite peculiar, he wants to promote a state that would follow arts, he wants the creation of an artistic state, "l'Etat Irréel" like he calls it. -Leopold Griffenberg, the current minister of science and technology, he wants the creation of a transhumanist technocracy, where people follow scientific principles, he promotes the rapid and priority amelioration of current technologies, and would like to create a "virtual nation". These five candidates all have their followers, the nation itself is starting to divide, the matter of succession will be dealt with by those five factions, nevertheless, there is currently a vaccuum in the ruling institutions, for now, an interim president will be placed to rule the country temporarily. |
