Message | Mr. Speaker, The most recent bill by the Revolutionary Kaminskyist Party has a provision reducing the retirement age which we support but it was accompanied by other proposals that we could not support. That is why we are proposing a reduction in the retirement age as a stand-alone proposal. We put forwards this legislation to allow the workers who allow us to live our current life of plenty deserve to have the time to enjoy the fruits of their labour by changing the minimum age for eligibility for pensions to 60. Message | Mr. Speaker This bill will destroy small businesses is Hutori and with records of people living longer in anytime in history as well as the communist policies set by the workers league, the national change party profoundly disagrees with this bill as it would just add to the many problems with Hutori. Further more this would almost 99.9% hurt the economy in such a way that we’ll never really recover from if this bill proposal is passed. 65 years of age is just the right age to retire. No more no less. Rt. Hon Rex Collins Deputy Leader of the National Change Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We would argue that the increased lifespan due to our technological progress is all the more reason to lower the age of retirement. Today, a worker makes a huge amount of surplus value, making it possible for a worker to produce more goods in less time. People should be able to enjoy their lives after having worked for decades and thanks to the advances in manufacturing and worker productivity, it is entirely within reason to do so. Also, the fact that the National Change Party uses the label of communist against us is indicative of how little they actually understand our platform. We are not communists, we are democratic socialists. We stand for the workers and common folk of this country unlike the National Change Party which serves the interests of big capitalists lining their pockets off of the work of the people. Hon. Nathan DeLaurier, Senate Leader for the Workers League, Senator for Port Prosperity Centre |

Message | Mr. Speaker Can I just say that I find it amusing that the Workers League is proposing this bill despite the fact we live in one of the most Socialists countries in Terra. When will the truth finally come out that the workers league will tear up your business and leave you poorer than you where before. This government Owns! most of the things in the nation which is making things as well as people poorer which ironically the Workers league say they stand against. And also on the remarks made by the commies that the National Change Party is only wanting to line the pockets of big capitalists simply shows that they don’t know anything about our platform. Our party believes in a decent minimum wage, an acceptable professional retirement age which this bill knows nothing of, a free for all healthcare system and a sane corporations tax and adding on to that a sane tax level where huge corporations and the extremely wealthy pay their share. That’s our views Mr speaker, to help businesses not destroy them! Rt. Hon Rex Collins Deputy Leader of the NCP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I recognize that we are one of the most leftist countries globally. That is thanks to our efforts and our allies in this Senate. But there is still work to be done, progress to be achieved. We should not sit on our laurels. Today, however, the National Change Party has shown its true colours. It is lashing out wildly against anything that might slightly hurt the massive corporations. The NCP's platform does claim all of the things that the Honourable Deputy Leader of the NCP mentioned, but a platform is worth nothing if you don't back it up with action, and all the NCP has brought forwards in this Senate has been privatization, deregulation and pro-corporation legislation. I have to give credit where credit is due, however. The NCP truly wants to help the corporations. They help them keep the workers down, keep them as wage slaves for as long as possible, preventing them from retiring early, preventing them from finally living their life without strife and toil, just so a CEO may line his pockets just a little more. We want to give everybody the dignity and respect they deserve for the work they have done and to allow them to retire earlier. Just the fact that there is so much opposition to this bill from across the Senate floor shows just how much work we still have to do until the workers can finally be free. Hon. Nathan DeLaurier, Senate Leader for the Workers League, Senator for Port Prosperity Centre |

Message | Mr. Speaker I find it strange but not surprising that the Workers League doesn’t want to help our economy or corporations or for that matter the normal citizens of Hutori. What the country needs to do in order to really try to move forward is for the government to offer subsidies for businesses and corporations that don’t break the law and want to actually help the people working for them as-well as the customers of thiers. That way as cost for good corporations is lowered the more investment will be made, the more investments made will lead to workers being given higher wages, the higher the wages the more the workers will spend leading to a booming economy. Also i think it’s a very cheap shot by the senator to say that the NCP is and I quote is “lashing out wildly against anything that might slightly hurt the massive corporations” The national Change Party wants no one to be hurt by the senate but the workers league now admits that this bill will hurt businesses and corporations but they haven’t yet admitted the HUGE! affect that this would have on the economy so I will like to hear how the government is planning on paying for this as some experts say that this bill could cost us up to hundreds of billions possibly even trillions. So how is the government gonna pay for it? Increase taxes? Rt. Hon Rex Collins Deputy Leader of the NCP |
