MessageMr. Speaker,

It is the right and duty of our citizens to be armed. If the government ever becomes corrupt and leaves the people behind, it is the moral duty for the citizens to set it right, through armed rebellion if needed, to keep the democracy and freedom they are owed, and any attempt to hamper the people's ability to do so is to essentially try and make the people into slaves, slaves of the state without any way to break free. The great equalizer between the people and the elites, between the downtrodden and the powerful, is the firearm. Under the current government, I see no reason for the people to rise up en masse as we have kept true to democracy and freedom, but we can't guarantee this will stay like this forever. If our successors are blinded by greed and a lust for power, the people should have recourse to set the state straight.

As for Article 2 about public nudity, we will support it, just not if it is tied to Article 1.

Senate Leader for the Worker's League,
