Bill: Morality and Family Values Act (2219)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarian Nationalist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2220

Description[?]:

Article I: Children should be encouraged to pray in schools. Two five minute periods of prayer should be held every day (once at the start and once after lunch). The teacher should encourage the children to pray and should have an understanding of the main religions present in Hobrazia at the time if any child needs help particularly if they are very young. We believe this would lead to a better moral, law abiding society in Hobrazia.

Article II:Sodomy is abhorrent and against nature while too much sex between Heterosexual couples leads to deviancy. We believ that sex should only be allowed for the procreation of children or on special occaisions. Birth control should only be available on prescription to those with sexually transmitted diseases.

MessageThis is honestly the most misleading bill ever created. I'll vote no and expect every other party except AMTPH to vote likewise.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
