Bill: Repeal the 'Food Bill'
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lodamun Humanist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2221
Description[?]:
"We highly object to this bill. The current system is in place for a purpose - to prevent unscrupulous, exploitative companies for concealing cheap, unhealthy ingredients in fancy packaging and marketing hype. All companies who do not continue on the old, mandatory labelling will be boycotted and sued, as well as their product analysed and the multitude of imperfections shown to the world." "In addition, the previous bill was falsely named so as to give a false impression of the bill - the bill does not have anything to do with food, for after is has passed, certain companies have stopped making food and started making mad chemical concoctions. And people eat these, unaware of what poisons they are putting into their bodies." |
