Bill: BRP/PAL Agreement Bill 4864
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluzia Renewal Party (BRP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4865
Description[?]:
The proposals in this Bill have been reproduced from the Manifesto produced by the Patriotic Alliance League prior to the election. Given the fact that the PAL won one of the five States in the election, the BRP considers it to be appropriate to respect the views of the electorate and attempt to find some common ground with the PAL. This does represent a compromise from the BRP, as we do not believe strongly in these proposals. On the other hand, in a spirit of co-operation we do not strongly disagree with them either. And by supporting some of the clear policies of the PAL it is hoped that we encourage the practice of parties working together even when they are not part of a formal coalition government. |
