The word of the Emperor and the power of the Lord are indivisible. It is by the Lord's will that he rules. Emperor Nikolaso Kantakuzeno has degreed that Hosianism be the official religion of the state and that the Coburan Apostolic Tewahedo Church be considered the official state church of the nation. Emperor Nikolaso Kantakuzeno has decreed that the artistic depiction of Hosian religious and holy figures be outlawed as a craft of idolatry. The veneration of religious images and depiction of religious figures shall be forbidden. The image of the emperor and the symbol of the cross shall be exempt from this decree. The passing of this Act shall declare unanimously, in the name of the Holy Trinity, that there shall be rejected and removed from every Hosian Church every likeness of the divine or divine forms which is made out of any material and colour whatever. |
