| Message | We disagree with the policy of "aid for trade". The people we give aid to should not be held to ransom - we must allow aid to be given in the name of humanity, not in the name of trade and profit. |

The unfortunate reality is that while giving aid unconditionally is a noble ideal to which we all aspire, we cannot possibly afford to keep it up in the long run.
