These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 14:56:47, April 30, 2006 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Foreign Aid Act |
Message | We disagree with the policy of "aid for trade". The people we give aid to should not be held to ransom - we must allow aid to be given in the name of humanity, not in the name of trade and profit. |
Date | 18:32:47, April 30, 2006 CET | From | Progressive Conservatives | To | Debating the Foreign Aid Act |
Message | We believe that "aid for trade" is mutually beneficial. The unfortunate reality is that while giving aid unconditionally is a noble ideal to which we all aspire, we cannot possibly afford to keep it up in the long run. When we run out of means to supply unconditional aid, then both we and the poorer nations will suffer. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
